Hi Y'all,
I am back, armed with a new usb cable straight from a place called Ding Dong, China. My thanks go out to all the Ding Dongers who have enabled me to upload photos again! Since I last posted, I have learned a new skill. I can now butcher a chicken! A friend of a friend taught me the art last night, and it really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. So, old hens, beware! But I'll spare you the pictures of that escapade. Here are a few shots from around here--not much going on in the garden right now, but I do have one surviving Swiss Chard plant, and some other greens, carrots, and beets. As usual, my chickens are enjoying romping in this warm weather.
